“…However, traditional fluorometry usually measures the variation of one fluorescence signal, which is easily affected by probe concentration and environmental factors . Fortunately, a ratiometric fluorescence strategy can reduce or eliminate these interferences to achieve a more sensitive and reliable analysis because ratiometric fluorescence can offer intrinsic self-calibration for signals by simultaneously collecting the variation of two emission bands. Lately, several interesting ratiometric fluorescence strategies have been designed for TC detection. However, most of these ratiometric fluorescence strategies do not produce synchronous changes in the two fluorescence signals caused by TC or the two fluorescence colors have a small chroma difference, resulting in an unnoticeable fluorescence color variation, which greatly limits the ability of visual analysis.
