A Novel Rp-HPLC Gradient Elution Technique for Bioanalytical Method Development and Validation for Estimating Gallic Acid in Wistar Rat Plasma

Abstract: Objective: Present study aimed to develop and validate a novel, unique, simple, quick, cost-effective, sensitive, specific, accurate, precise, rugged, and robust bioanalytical method for the quantification of gallic acid in rat plasma by reverse phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) using gradient elution technique. Methods: The stationary phase was a Zorbax SB C18 5 µ (4.6*150) mm column, with the mobile phase being water with 0.1 percent formic acid (A): acetonitrile (ACN) with 0.08 percent … Show more

“…The Intra-day (same day) and inter-day precision values discretely ranged from 0.19 % to 0.44 % and 0.29 % to 1.74 %. The results of %RSD were within the acceptable limits of less than 2%, revealing that the proposed method was precise for quantifying tulobuterol hydrochloride in rat plasma [30].…”

“…Identification of tinctures and plant materials using chromatographic and spectroscopic methods is challenging due to their complex chemical composition [1][2][3]. It is challenging to choose specific marker compounds because plants from different genera contain compounds of the same chemical classes [4,5].…”
