Abstract:This article presents the design of a dual‐band microstrip patch antenna. The proposed patch antenna is based on a novel metamaterial structure named the corrugated slotted‐complementary split‐ring resonators. By loading this new inclusion on the ground plane of a conventional patch antenna, a second resonance frequency can be created. The corrugated slotted split‐ring resonator has a minor effect on the first operating band which is generated by the patch. A prototype of this antenna has been designed for ope… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
