Abstract: This work is concerned with the development of a novel diversity-controlled (DC) genetic algorithm (GA) for the design and rapid optimization of frequency-response masking (FRM) digital filters incorporating bilinear lossless discrete-integrator (LDI) IIR interpolation sub-filters.
