A Novel Control Strategy for Grid-Connected Inverter Based on Iterative Calculation of Structural Parameters

Abstract: A novel control strategy that is based on iterative calculation of structural parameters is proposed for grid-connected inverter in this paper. The proposed strategy has a good dynamic performance, which makes it particularly suitable for the application of PV grid-connected generation. First, a second-order discretization mathematical model of grid-connected inverter control is established in the dq frame. The corresponding relation between the control signal and the output current is deduced in formulas. The… Show more

“…Since the addition of the LTD link will cause the system to appear in a high-frequency oscillation after entering a steady state, LADRC is composed of LESO and LSEF. According to Formulas (14), (16), (17) and (19), the block diagram of the first-order LADRC can be obtained, as shown in Figure 5.…”

“…The good control effect of the photovoltaic system can ensure the smooth completion of the grid connection. Therefore, this issue has aroused widespread concern in scholars at home and abroad [16][17][18][19]. The most traditional control method of the photovoltaic grid-connected inverter is double closed-loop proportional integral (PI) control.…”

“…The PI control scheme is commonly used in the stationary reference frame (SRF) for its simple control structure, ease of implementation, and good transient response [14]. However, a PI controller is unable to track a sinusoidal reference with zero steady-state error because of the limited control-loop gain [15]. It also lacks sufficient suppression ability for low frequency harmonics.…”

“…In the dual closed-loop control system of power grid voltage orientation, the bus capacitor voltage controlled by the voltage outer loop is kept at a preset constant value, and the output of the voltage outer loop is used as the reference value of the current inner loop. The current inner loop adjusts the reference value of reactive power according to the requirements of the entire wind power for reactive power, thereby improving the control effect of voltage outer loop [13]. In the typical double-loop control, there is current coupling in inner loop.…”
