With the massive growth of the software sector as well as the erratic needs of end users, agent-based information systems and Model Driven Architecture (MDA) approach are among the liveliest and significant fields of experimentation and improvement to emerge in the recent decade. In this vein, we suggest in this research an innovative method that automates the construction and the generation processes of the interaction multi-agent models from the business requirements engineering models at the MDA highest abstraction levels. So, our defiance is to align the Agent Modeling Language (AML) Communicative Interaction diagram with the E3value model dealing with the MDA approach. The ATLAS-Transformation Language (ATL) is applied to automate the model alignment process. The goal is to reduce project effort, time, and development costs as all alignment process is automatically done, boosting the chances of being more competitive in the software business.

The traditional systems used in the physiotherapy rehabilitation process are evolving towards more advanced systems that use virtual reality (VR) environments so that the patient in the rehabilitation process can perform various exercises in an interactive way, thus improving the patient’s motivation and reducing the therapist’s work. The paper presents a VR simulator for an intelligent robotic system of physiotherapeutic rehabilitation of the ankle of a person who has had a stroke. This simulator can interact with a real human subject by attaching a sensor that contains a gyroscope and accelerometer to identify the position and acceleration of foot movement on three axes. An electromyography (EMG) sensor is also attached to the patient’s leg muscles to measure muscle activity because a patient who is in a worse condition has weaker muscle activity. The data collected from the sensors are taken by an intelligent module that uses machine learning to create new levels of exercise and control of the robotic rehabilitation structure of the virtual environment. Starting from these objectives, the virtual reality simulator created will have a low dependence on the therapist, this being the main improvement over other simulators already created for this purpose.

Designing a system is an important step in the software development process. A use case diagram (UCD) and a class diagram (CD) are the most used diagrams in designing a system. This case study aims to explore the implementation of an event-based approach using the event table (ET) to design the Outcome-based Education Curriculum System (OBECS). In generating a UCD of OBECS, the event-based approach involves three processes: (1) identifying actors and the relationship between actors; (2) identifying use cases and the relationships of the use cases; and (3) generating UCD. Meanwhile, there are four processes in the event-based approach which can be used to generate a CD of OBECS namely: (1) identifying the classes for each event or action using the ET;(2) identifying the relationships between sources and objects; (3) identifying the class' attributes and methods; and (4) integrating all classes. Our study proposes a clear and simple concept to generate a UCD and CD in designing a system. It is expected that the result of the current study could help a software designer in modelling the system from the system requirement.
