A New ENDOR Cavity Configuration

Abstract: This paper reports a new microwave cavity-rf coil configuration for ENDOR experiments. It consists of a split rectangular cavity operated in the TE201 mode with two columns of multiple horizontal posts traversing the entire cavity and piercing the end walls. The posts are everywhere perpendicular to the microwave electric field and have a negligible effect on the cavity Q.
