Abstract:This paper reports a new microwave cavity-rf coil configuration for ENDOR experiments. It consists of a split rectangular cavity operated in the TE201 mode with two columns of multiple horizontal posts traversing the entire cavity and piercing the end walls. The posts are everywhere perpendicular to the microwave electric field and have a negligible effect on the cavity Q. The cavity is substantially widened in the direction which does not affect the cavity frequency in order to provide a good return path for … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
