A Molecular Study of Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm of the Pancreas in a Pediatric Patient

Abstract: Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas (SPNP) is considered as a tumor with low malignant potential. Little is known about how its molecular heterogeneity is involved in its pathogenesis. We aim to evaluate tumor heterogeneity by immunohistochemistry (IH) and proteomics in three macroscopically distinct areas. Tumor fragments were obtained from a 12-year-old female patient.
