This study aims to investigate the determinants of NDIV platform acceptance among young investors in Malaysia within the context of protection motivation theory and uncertainty reduction theory. The study proposed a conceptual model comprising five hypotheses tested using structural equation modelling-partial least squares. Data was collected through an online questionnaire survey from 361 young investors in Malaysia. The results show that acceptance of the NDIV platform is directly influenced by perceived severity, response efficacy, self-efficacy, and transparency. This study extended the protection motivation theory by incorporating uncertainty reduction theory to strengthen the predictions of NDIV platform acceptance among young investors in Malaysia. The study brought meaning by filling the theoretical, empirical, and methodological gaps in the body of knowledge. This research contributes to the administrators, regulators, industry practitioners, and government to improve the platforms' strategies and increase citizen engagement conclusions.

As e-learning has become increasingly prevalent, cyber security has become a major concern. e-Learning platforms collect and store large amounts of sensitive information, such as personal data and financial information, making them attractive targets for cybercriminals. To address these challenges and concerns, e-learning platforms must implement a comprehensive cyber security strategy that includes strong access controls, data encryption, regular software updates, and student training to help them identify and prevent insider threats. This research aims at investigating and determine how satisfied students are with e-learning security and privacy, as well as whether these concerns affect the overall standard of education. A sample study is presented to assess both the impact of the security framework on students' academic achievements and the student's satisfaction with the security countermeasures in an e-learning system. Statistical analysis showed that the use of security and cyber security countermeasures had a significant effect on the frequent use and participation of students in the contents of the system. Furthermore, encouraging feedback and communication from students about their e-learning experience to share their concerns, questions, and suggestions can help in addressing any security issues or concerns, as well as increasing students' participation in the e-learning content.

Moodle is a platform designed for universal learning to support pedagogical interactions and educational activities. The information technology (IT) administrator uses standard authentication methods for students logging into the Moodle platform. The need for two-factor authentication has grown as institutions, governments, and individuals realize that passwords are not secure enough to protect user accounts in their current technical format. The classic connection methods have vulnerabilities, and account passwords are easy to crack. Analyzing these aspects, the goal is to create a new safe and reliable alternative to the traditional authentication methods in e-learning platforms. The proposed solution introduces a new authentication factor using digital certificates stored on physical devices or the cloud to address the evolving authentication and security challenges effectively. The absence of this authentication within the Moodle ecosystem has imparted a sense of urgency for its implementation. With the innovative authentication scheme, the users have gained confidence, are satisfied with the new solution, and have not reported security breaches. The result is increased security, data protection, and better account management.
