A Model for Abnormal Grain Growth in Nano-Crystalline Materials Based on Zener Drag Force

Abstract: Abnormal grain growth of a matrix in which normal grain growth has stagnated due to the presence of fine incoherent ceramic particles is studied. A balance between driving and retarding forces is used as the criteria for estimating the steady state.
