A Link Quality Based Dispersity Routing Algorithm for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Abstract: -Multipath routing mechanisms have been preferred over single path routing to provide parallel fail safe paths and to maximize throughput. Applying traditional shortest path metric for multipath route selection leads to traffic concentration at some nodes resulting in congestion, thereby causing performance degradation . Interference caused due to neighbouring node traffic is another factor that further limit its performance gains. Towards this, to ease out congestion and improve network resource utilization w… Show more

“…Every node present in the network works as a router. [1,2] Nowadays, the use of wireless devices in most applications has increased significantly in the last few years, due to which the amount of data transmitted from these devices is too large and there is a possibility of further development. Researchers have proposed various techniques and route protocol [3] to adjust the requirements of these increasing data volumes and Improve the efficiency of these wireless networks.…”

“…This kind of community is known as Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET). [1,2] With the continuous advancement of communication technologies, the dependence of humans on wireless mobile gadgets is growing and the usage of its applications in the coming days could be popular and protected. Various dilemmas were derived from the ad hoc network, including bandwidth optimization, transmission quality enhancement, and power control.…”
