The subject of this article is to determine COVID-19 vulnerability risk and its change over time in association with the state health care system, turnover, and transport to support the crisis management decision-making process. The aim was to determine the COVID-19 Vulnerability Index (CVI) based on the selected criteria. The risk assessment was carried out with methodology that includes the application of multicriteria analysis and spatiotemporal aspect of available data. Particularly the Spatial Multicriteria Analysis (SMCA) compliant with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), which incorporated selected population and environmental criteria were used to analyse the ongoing pandemic situation. The influence of combining several factors in the pandemic situation analysis was illustrated. Furthermore, the static and dynamic factors to COVID-19 vulnerability risk were determined to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19 at the early stage of the pandemic situation. As a result, areas with a certain level of risk in different periods of time were determined. Furthermore, the number of people exposed to COVID-19 vulnerability risk in time was presented. These results can support the decision-making process by showing the area where preventive actions should be considered.

Purpose The main goal of the physical education (PE) environment is that each individual trained should achieve self-fulfillment with the large group of students involved with their own efforts. Deep learning is applying transferrable knowledge in new situations to help the students master in tough circumstances. In PE training, injuries occur when working together as a team. Safety measures are taken immediately as an emergency response to reduce the potential risk in students by providing first aid. To provide safety measures for the injured student immediately, the environment is monitored in real-time using a GPS. Design/methodology/approach Theory of Humanities Education (ToHE) infers that it has less collection of theories and a wide range of applications than the state-of-the-art systems. ToHE allows students to think creatively and play a vital role in one’s health which is a critical aspect in PE. The ToHE theory focuses on two main concepts, i.e. by using a methodological approach to analyse and deep learning to solve the problem. PE motivates college students to follow a healthy and active lifestyle. Findings The proposed system is deployed in real time for monitoring the student’s performance and provides an emergency response with an accuracy rate of 90%. Originality/value The deep learning offers solutions to the injuries by using the deep convolutional neural network to provide interpretability of the consequence by training it with various injuries that occur in the playground and inappropriate use of sports equipment. A case study provided in this paper outlines an emergency response scenario to an injured student in sports training.

In Tunisia and particularly in Monastir region, groundwater constitutes the main source of water supply systems. A lot of problems are facing the water management authorities. In fact, the Moknine coastal aquifer highlights several qualitative and quantitative anomalies due to the irrigated perimeters extension (Teboulba, Bekalta), releases of harmful products from the textile industry (Ksar Hellal and Moknine), intense overexploitation and seawater intrusion. Thus, for groundwater resources management, a Decision Support System (DSS) is developed for the Monastir region. This Decision Support System (DSS) brings together, on a digital support, the data descriptive and graphical component for groundwater management. It is a hydrogeological relational database joined with a Hydrogeological Information System for the Monastir region (HISM) which enables fast and effective processing of large volumes of spatial data from multiple sources. The implementation of the Hydrogeological Information System is assured using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). The "Unified Modeling Language" (UML) is an Object-Oriented Design (OOD) methodology which is choiced for data modeling. The application interfaces have been developed in Visual Basic (VB.net) within the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) from Microsoft Visual Studio. "DotSpatial" library integrated is used to manage the geographic information layers.
