A Generalized Correlation for Henry's Constants in Nonpolar Systems

Abstract: A generalized thermodynamic expression for Henry's constants is derived. The derivation is based on the statistical mechanics of dilute liquid solutions in conjunction with Scott's two-fluid theory and a reduced empirical equation of state; it is applicable to solid as well as fluid solutes.
