This research aims to develop instructional media which is tested its feasibility and piloted in learning activities. The instructional media is developed using online builder Appypie with DCE developedmodel. The product assessment is conducted by material expert, media expert and testing in a small and big group.The instrument of collected data is conducted by interviewing, questionnaire and test. The results of this research are: The instructional media product, mobile learning based android, has been using online builde Appypie, instructional media is feasible to apply after obtaining assessment result from material and media expert and users, The learning outcomes increases significantly between students with and without using instructional media. In summary, developed instructional media is feasible to app;y in a learning activity.

Low usability of mobile application is thought to diminish the perceived level of the quality by a user whose experiences substantially determines its market success or failure. However, while a single method of measurement employed to study usability may produce an unreliable or incomplete evaluation outcome, in this paper, contrarily we propose to take advantage of both qualitative and quantitative methods adequate to collect data, that would describe all usability attributes. In particular, in the scope of mobile application usability studies, this paper (i) depicts the main assumptions of elaborated M4MAUME methodology, (ii) describes the self-developed software tool (RVDA) for retrospective video data analysis, (iii) specifies the experimental setup, and (iv) discusses the preliminary results obtained from 20 experiments performed on four different groups of mobile applications. Eventually our findings lead us to the conclusion that mixing different methods have produced reliable and valuable outcomes which may be used to improve and manage usability in current and future projects, as well as to enhance existing software quality assurance (SQA) programs.

Cooperative Mobile Learning for the Investigation of Natural Science Courses in Elementary Schools

The rapid development of technologies such as tablet PCs and 4G/5G networks has further enhanced the benefits of mobile learning. Although mobile devices are convenient and provide a variety of learning benefits, they are unable to improve students’ learning outcomes without an appropriate learning strategy. Furthermore, little research has been conducted to examine the effects of using collaborative learning on mobile devices. This study proposed a cooperative learning framework using Google Docs to explore the learning outcomes of students of natural science in an elementary curriculum. The study was of a quasi-experimental design with an experimental group (cooperative learning) and a control group (personal learning). The results show that a cooperative learning approach using Google Docs improved learning outcomes, teaching interest, and understanding of campus plants, and reduced cognitive load. One conclusion of the study is that the collaborative learning approach associated with mobile learning is more effective than personal learning. In addition, this paper also provides brief recommendations to expand on the study’s limitations. Future work should investigate the impact of collaborative learning on different environments for mobile learning.
