A five coordination Cu(ii) cluster-based MOF and its application in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals via sp3 C–H/N–H oxidative coupling

Abstract: Five coordination sites of Cu(ii) cluster were found in VNU-18 that showed highly efficient catalytic property for the oxidative C–H activation via N–H bonds.

“…Research interest in nanomaterials (metalorganic frameworks, nanoparticles, porous nanomaterials, etc.) has become an integral part in the development of future technologies [1][2][3][4]. Among these, multiferroic nanomaterials (e.g., MFe 2 O 4 , M stands for transition metals) have afforded an abundance of widely practical applications, hence, giving rise in research interests, especially in environmental remediation [5,6].…”

“…More specifically, Table S2 lists the twenty-trial actual and predicted values for the TCC removal. The highest percentage of TCC removal was 93.0% (entry 3), while the lowest was only 53.0% (entry 14) and the average six trials were 79.8% (entries [15][16][17][18][19][20]. The empirical relationships between the response (Y) and the significant factors (A, B, and C) were achieved from using a central composite design via the Design-Expert®Software [47]:…”

“…Recently, such mesoporous carbons (MPC) can be facilely synthesized via the pyrolysis of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) as self-sacrificial templates [15][16][17][18]. The MOFs are highly crystalline and porous materials, constructed by iron clusters and organic ligands, giving them excellent tailorability and versatile functionalities [19][20][21][22]. Due to tailoring the electron-rich functionalized adsorbents via these MOFs precursors, applications of MOFs-derived porous carbons (PCs) have been widened, especially in the removal of antibiotics.…”
