Abstract

The paper presents a ball-rolling device, which is used for fínish machining cylindrical work pieces in magnetic field. The authors analyzed the effects of different work materials and the exciting continuous current to the magnetic induction with fínite element method-(FEM-). The change of the magnetic induction is illustrated by diagrams, and the calculated and measured data are compared in detail.
