A facile synthesis of 1‐hydroxypyrazole by oxidation of pyrazole

Abstract: The oxidation of sodium pyrazolate with dibenzoyl peroxide is the first direct route to 1‐hydroxypyrazole (2a). The reaction may be also applied to substituted pyrazoles.
