A docência em “celas de aula”: desafios dos professores de educação física em escolas prisionais

Abstract

Na Educação prisional são ofertadas diversas disciplinas, dentre elas a Educação Física. Este artigo apresenta dados de uma pesquisa que buscou investigar possíveis desafios enfrentados por professores de Educação Física em escolas prisionais. Eles revelaram diversos desafios em suas ações docentes, dentre eles, destaca-se os limites para o desenvolvimento da Educação Física em razão das aulas acontecerem somente dentro da sala/cela e com diversas restrições. Essa situação limita o alcance dos propósitos educacionais da disciplina em virtude de suas necessidades específicas, e estabelecem um paradoxo, pois quando se pensa na disciplina pressupõe a presença de movimento e práticas corporais.

“…Considering that safety refers to the physical well-being of teachers and students when in the school facilities, this result indicates that the space is vulnerable to possible situations of violence and may generate in the teacher a sense of fear and other typical manifestations of an anxious situation. Therefore, on the one hand, safety is considered essential for good relationships between students and their respective commitment (Colombo, 2018), but, on the other, when the safety is not perceived, it seems to clutter the teaching work (Custódio & Nunes, 2019).…”
