A distributed automation architecture for distribution networks, from design to implementation

Abstract: Abstract-With the current increase of distributed generation in distribution networks, line congestions and PQ issues are expected to increase. The smart grid may effectively coordinate DER, only when supported by a comprehensive architecture for automation.
