A desinstitucionalização: limites e possibilidades

Abstract: A desinstitucionalização dentro de um significado mais abrangente a ser atribuído ao ato de curar e reconhecer dois diferentes paradigmas: o "cuidar" e o "curar por meio da terapia". Na dialética entre os dois se introduz um pensamento que se apresenta como uma verdadeira "revolução copernicana": é a perspectiva desenvolvida pela desinstitucionalização, que mais do que um tratamento consiste em um crescimento da pessoa.
