A decade of cardiac transplantation in Coimbra: The value of experience

Abstract: PALAVRAS-CHAVE53,0 ± 12,7 anos (limites 3-72 anos) e predominância do sexo masculino (78%) foram transplantados. Mais de um terço dos doentes tinha miocardiopatia isquémica (37,2%) e 36,4% idiopática. A idade média dos dadores era 34,4 ± 11,3 anos e 195 eram do sexo masculino (76%), com disparidade de sexo entre dador e recetor (F:M) em 32% dos casos e disparidade AB0 (grupos não idênticos mas compatíveis) em 18%.
