Abstract

This article adopts the deductive, documental and bibliographic method of research and analyzes the impact of the "sentence culture" in the period of 2016/2017 and verifies if this culture is maintained by the Law Schools of Southern Brazil and if these Schools inserted in their curriculum some alternative dispute resolutions subjects that would allow for a shift to a "culture of peace", also called "consensus culture." The conclusion is that in the Law Schools of Southern Brazil there is still teaching of the future professionals of the law in the sense of maintaining the "sentence culture" with advances, however, in the discussion and inclusion of contents related to a change to the "Culture of peace". This article presents at the end some suggestions for this changing of culture.
