Quality management practices play a vital role in the sustainability of an institution, while timely innovation is a significant factor that leads toward sustainable performance. That is why this study aims to explore the importance of quality management practices for sustainable performance of higher education institutions in Pakistan with the mediating role of innovation and strategy. This study also checked the influence of state and government policies. The data was collected from 353 respondents, i.e., the Pakistani universities' academic staff, and analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0. Empirical findings stated that soft and hard, both quality management practices have a significant impact on sustainable performance while innovation and strategy play indirectly to make more contributions to the sustainability of higher education institutions. However, state and government policies strengthen the soft perspective of management practices for sustainability but do not significantly contribute to hard practices. This study is one of the initial types of research which provides empirical evidence in the higher education context of Pakistan to make sustainable institutional performance with the help of soft and hard quality management practices. Moreover, this study stated that directors with modern thinking should concentrate on both quality management practices and innovation in accordance with the proposed models to enhance sustainable performance, especially in emerging economies.

Purpose: The main objective of this paper is to analyze the factors that influence the performance of Village-owned Enterprises and village development performance in Lombok Utara Regency and Analyze the role of social capital polong renten in moderating the influence of manager competence on the performance of Village-owned Enterprisesin Lombok Utara Regency.
Theoretical Framework: Explains the context of sustainable development as development that is oriented towards meeting human needs through the wise. Competency is the ability to carry or carry out a job or task that is based on skills and knowledge and is supported by the work attitude required by the job. Village-owned Enterprises is an institution established by the village government to improve the village economy. social capital is a resource inherent in social relationships. Individuals involved in social relationships can use these social resources for personal and group interests.
Design/Methodology/Approach: The study is quantitative associative and this research was conducted in 43 villages in Lombok Utara Regency. With the number of samples used as many as 215 people in 43 Village-owned Enterprises. Data analysis used the SEM-PLS method.
Findings: The results of the study found the role of the government, management competence, utilization of information and communication technology, and social capital of Polong Renten have a significant positive effect both in installment and indirectly on the performance of Village-owned Enterprisesand the performance of village development.
Research, Practical & Social Implications: Polong renten's social capital significantly moderated the influence of the manager competency variable on the performance of Village-owned Enterprisesin Lombok Utara Regency. novelty in research obtained results and illustrated there is a factor of polong renten social capital, which has an influence and moderation of influence between variables that impact the performance of Village-owned Enterprisesand village development performance.
Originality/Value: In addition, it further emphasizes the moderation effect of social capital in other forms, whether it can strengthen or weaken the influence relationship between variables estimated to affect the performance of Village-owned Enterprisesand village development performance.

This study aims to determine the role of authentic local resources and social capital in influencing the development of sustainable village tourism. This research refers to the social exchange theory and the theory of resources base view, using 30 managers of the village tourism "Lontar Sewu" as respondents who then carried out a bootstrapping process of 300 data. WarpPLS processed the collected data. The results revealed that the data collected met the validity and reliability requirements and the fit of the model. Estimation of the model showed that the authenticity of local resources and the social capital of the community had a positive relationship with sustainable village tourism. Likewise, the verification showed that the authenticity of local resources affected sustainable village tourism, and social capital affected sustainable village tourism. The findings showed that the authenticity of local resources and social capital was proven to have an important role in sustainable village tourism, such as the sustainability of the Lontar tree ecosystem (authenticity), the uniqueness of village tourism that is maintained, and local wisdom that makes the community involved in developing village tourism. This research provides a significant theoretical contribution to the sustainable tourism literature. Furthermore, this research has a number of practical implications for village tourism managers in terms of sustainable village tourism management.
