A concise review on synthesis, reactions and biological importance of thienopyrazoles

Abstract: Pyrazoles are five membered heterocycles constitute a higly significant class of compounds in organic synthesis. Nowadays, pyrazoles and condensed pyrazoles have attracted substantial attention of the scientists owing to their excellent pharmacological and agrochemical properties. Pyrazole derivatives exhibit a wide range of pharmacological effects such as: anticancer, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic, antimicrobial, antidepressant, antiviral, antihypertensive, anti-glaucoma, anti-tubercu… Show more

“…Notably, this analysis helped in identifying key structural features responsible for the observed biological effects, enabling the design of more potent derivatives in the future. It is exciting to clarify that this research reaffirms the significant role of applied chemical sciences across various applications as evidenced by numerous previously published papers. Finally, we can conclude that this work focused on the preparation of 12 heterocyclic compounds of quinazolines and evaluating their agricultural bioactivity as insecticides. The study also aimed to establish SARs among the compounds and perform molecular docking analyses.…”

“…Thienopyrazoles derivatives have well-documented anticancer activity, yet this class of compounds has been mostly ignored. As with their parent moieties, thienopyrazoles have been described in the literature as kinase inhibitors, anti-inflammatory, and receptor modulating agents [ 10 , 11 , 12 ]. Many previous studies have focused on the activity of thieno[3,2-c]pyrazole derivatives.…”

“…Thienopyrazoles are a bicyclic combination of the pyrazole and thiophene moieties and have been endorsed as antiproliferative, antiviral, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory agents [ 10 , 11 , 12 ]. There exist three isomers of thienopyrazole: thieno[2,3-c]pyrazole, thieno[3,2-c]pyrazole, and thieno[3,4-c]pyrazole ( Figure 1 ) [ 12 ].…”
