“…In addition, the analysis of the temperature fields in the substrate shows that when modeling the processes of heat and mass transfer in systems such as “heated substrate/liquid drop/environment”, it is necessary to calculate the heat transfer in the heating source. The assumption that the substrate surface temperature is equal to the heater temperature (as in ref ) can lead to errors in modeling evaporation processes (most likely, the calculated evaporation times will be somewhat underestimated).…”

“…The main problem of such storage devices is that no reliable methods have been developed to remove high-density heat fluxes that occur during thermal runaway of lithium-ion batteries. One of the most promising options for solving this problem is the use of drop cooling systems for heat-loaded surfaces. The main idea of this technology is the formation (by means of spray action) of a fluid flow discrete in time and space to the heating surface, which intensively absorbs heat (Figure ). During the operation of such systems, as a result of the phase transition, the heated surface is rapidly cooled.…”

“…The frequency of climate extremes and negative climate change trends in recent years have become one of the major threats to global development [ 1 , 2 ]. Rapidly developing industries and the growing material needs of life have been leading to huge emissions of greenhouse gases, which are largely responsible for raising global climate temperatures.…”

“…Therefore, searching for alternative renewable energy sources has become a hotspot. [1][2][3] The electrolysis of water for producing hydrogen fuel is attractive to store renewable energy. High efficiency electrocatalysts are critical to improve the efficiency of the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and reduce electrical energy consumption.…”
