Purpose -The purpose of this paper is to introduce a model for identifying, storing, and sharing contextual information across smartphone apps that uses the native device services. We present the idea of using user input and interaction within an app as contextual information; and how each app can identify and store contextual information. Design/methodology/approach -Contexts are modelled as hierarchical objects that can be stored and shared by applications using native mechanisms. A proof-of-concept implementation of the model for the Android platform demonstrates contexts modelled as hierarchical objects stored and shared by applications using native mechanisms. Findings -The model was found to be practically viable by implemented sample apps that share context and through a performance analysis of the system. Practical implications -The contextual data-sharing model enables the creation of smart apps and services without being tied to any vendors cloud services. Originality/value -This paper introduces a new approach for sharing context in smartphone applications that does not require cloud services.

Modern research emphasizes Pervasive Computing change faces, learning cultures, structures, communications, intellectual properties, information securities, data presentations and web displays to make attraction for human interaction. Pervasive systems have a broad range of applications but it is relatively challenging for pervasive applications to meet emergence into existing physical environment and newly built structure requirements. Due to their interaction to gather information and change the environment via activating devices independently is highlighted. Security of the pervasive devices and applications which control our activities has primary importance and will be destroyed, if the pervasive system operations are not secure. There is a need to improve the security measures for data to travel rapidly, unbroken, unchanged and invisible by deceptive recipients. Pervasive Computing allows users to get information and services access anytime and anywhere but need to discuss issues and solutions to deliver secure information with privacy and trust. Possible solutions for these challenges of Pervasive Computing interaction between human are emphasized. A collection of papers and articles have been collected in order to investigate the previous study of Pervasive Computing interaction and its challenges. Is it possible for us to understand what the scientific world will be close to generate new avenues? Expectations of future bring new openings for user interaction with systems, data, information and the environments in which they live, work and play.

Abstract-Contextual information are used to describe situations of entities (users and devices) and their interactions. Applications need such information in order to adapt their behaviour in response to changes in the entities context. In certain scenarios and in particular machine to machine, the integration of a large number of components makes the management of the generated contextual information a very complex task. There absence of scalable and easily programmable solution for an efficient context management in complex and distributed environment is a show stopper. In this article, we propose a scalable cloud-based framework for context management able to handle contextual information in large distributed environments. This framework has been implemented and evaluated; it provides applications with a XML-based programming language to allow them customizing subscriptions to context changes and defining how context data.
