A comparative study on the performance of several speech recognition techniques applied on the highly confusing mandarin syllables

Abstract: In this paper, the performance of several speech recognition techniques applied on the highly confusing Mandarin syllables were carefully compared, including dynamic time warping (DTW), the newly proposed DTW with superimposed weighting function (DTWW), the discrete hidden Markov models (DHMM) and the continuous hidden Markov models (CHMM). The vocabulary used here consists of 409 first tone isolated Mandarin syllables. Due to the fact that many confusing sets exist in this vocabulary, the accurate recognition… Show more

“…Gu et al [24] performed a research on the static and dynamic rheology test on polybutylcyanoacrylate (PBCA) jasmine fragrance nanocapsules suspensions, focus on the influences of temperature on rheological behaviors of PBCA nano-flavor on ARG2 rheometer. Results suggested that nano-flavor solutions presented inequable viscoelastic properties, the main feature was viscous at 5 ℃ , and at 25 ℃ the elastic modulus dominated, and gradually changed from viscous to elastic characteristics at 50 ℃.…”
