Abstract: Inference of ageing mechanisms becomes a very complex matter in insulations,where the presence of electrical field concentrations, temperature grad ien ts, various ins u la t ing m a t e ria 1 s, inhomogeneities, etc., complicates tremendously a n y physical in vest igat ion.
