Resumo-Esse trabalho apresenta um estudo comparativo entre conversores monofásicos aplicados à correção de fator de potência. Os conversores sob análise são o conversor boost, o conversor boost intercalado, e o conversor dual boost. Tais conversores são utilizados como estágio de entrada em fontes de equipamentos da tecnologia da informação. Nesta análise todos os conversores utilizam os mesmos parâmetros de projeto, e foram projetados para apresentarem a mesma taxa de distorção harmônica da corrente de entrada com o intuito de utilizarem o mesmo filtro de entrada. O sistema de controle utilizado é baseado em uma lei de controle de corrente preditiva e um algoritmo para detectar o modo de condução, uma vez que os conversores operam em modo de condução mista. Os parâmetros analisados para a comparação das topologias são: fator de potência, taxa de distorção harmônica da corrente de entrada, perdas nos dispositivos semicondutores e magnéticos, volume dos dissipadores e materiais magnéticos, interferência eletromagnética conduzida, eficiência e custos.
