Abstract: Abstran -In this paper a new 28 GHz solid-state power amplifier based on a novel SlottecLwaveguide spatial power dividerlcombiner is presented. Innovative wavegnide-slotmicrostrip transitions have been successfully achieved through three-dimensional electromagnetic simulations. An output power of more than 36 dBm was measured at the output of the power amplifier using a four-device combiner. The power combining efficiency of about 80 % has been achieved.
