A Compact 3.3–3.5 GHz Filter Based on Modified Composite Right-/Left-Handed Resonator Units

Abstract: In the RF (Radio Frequency) front-end of a communication system, bandpass filters (BPFs) are used to send passband signals and reject stopband signals. Substrate-integrated waveguides (SIW) are widely used in RF filter designs due to their low loss and low cost and the flexibility of their integration properties. However, SIW filters under 6 GHz are still too large to meet the requirement of portable communication devices due to their long wavelength. In this paper, a very compact fully integrated SIW filter i… Show more

“…The co-and cross-polarized patterns are close to each other (with a difference of less than 3dB) in the broadside direction (𝜃 = 0 𝑜 ), and this is good evidence for the presence of the CP in that direction. In general, the 5G antenna designers propose antennas for 5G mid-band either in the LTE 43 standard [23,24] or in the LTE 42 standard [25,26]. Unfortunately, these designs cannot be used in devices that works on the two standards because this requires using two different antennas for each standard.…”

“…In [74], a sawtooth CLRH-based SIW cavity resonator is designed. Miniaturization is achieved by using a high dielectric constant substrate (RT/duroid 6010 with a dielectric constant of 10.2) and sawtooth-shaped slots instead of conventional spiral CLRH structure.…”

“…The IoT system is composed of a mass of devices that are frequently exposed to public situations, lacking effective protection, and are more vulnerable to attack [16]. For example, while the administrator adopts a regular scheduling strategy to monitor network security status, the attacker can obtain the relevant information (e.g., position) of the sensors through some attack analysis tools (such as eavesdropping [17], extended sleep [18], polymorphic worm [19], probe-response attack [20]). The attacker strategically selects a network device node as a source of infection outbreak propagation through acquired sensors information to avoid being monitored [20].…”
