Due to the depletion of pastures, fodder provisioning is becoming an acute problem, therefore improving pastures by sowing seeds undercover crops and in turf is essential. The main purpose of the work is to reduce the traction force of the sod seeder by developing an effective working body. As a result, a new technology for improving forage and pasture lands and the design of a working body of sod seeder for site-specific seeding of crops undercover crops are proposed. The new technology provides simultaneous sowing of grass seed and fertilizer at two levels of soil horizon without excluding the forage area from the exploitation: grass seed to a depth of 40 mm and fertilizer to a depth of 120 mm. The seed sowing and fertilizer application depths are adjustable, and the sowing width reaches 40 mm. The traction force was determined by the dynamometric method during laboratory and field experiments. Theoretical studies have determined the dependence of the traction force on the average parameters of the cultivated soil layer and its physical and mechanical properties, as well as the parameters of the working body. According to the results of experimental and field studies, the traction force range of the sod seeder was within 8.28-8.63 kN.

Одним із визначальних факторів фізичної деградації ґрунтів нашої країни є їх переущільнення. Дослідженнями встановлено, що 39 % площ ріллі у нашій державі перебувають у переущільненому стані тобто їх твердість у плужній підошві перевищує 35-40 кгс/см2. Важливим елементом усунення такого негативного явища є встановлення контурів площ із ґрунтами, твердість яких перевищує допустимі межі. Тому науковцями обґрунтовано доцільність збільшенням кількості вимірювань на одиниці площі, що забезпечує репрезентативність отриманих даних. Також акцентується увага на доцільності застосування постійної сітки вимірювань із прив’язкою до координат точок замірів та контуру поля. Проблема деградації ґрунтів шляхом їх переущільнення сприяла появі широкої пропозиції машин для глибокого розпушення ґрунту від провідних виробників ґрунтообробної техніки. Усі запропоновані знаряддя є високопродуктивними машинами та вимагають енергонасичених тракторів із потужністю двигуна від 40 кВт. У той же час практично відсутня пропозиція машин такого класу для мінітракторів із потужністю двигуна 20-25 кВт, що не дозволяє провести заходи глибокого розпушення на невеликих ділянка площею до 0,5 га. Проте більшість із них мають ущільненням підорного шару ґрунту до 30 і більше кг/см2. Тому метою дослідження є встановлення впливу способу обробітку ґрунту на його твердість та обґрунтування конструкції знаряддя для розпушення підорного шару ґрунту для трактора із потужністю двигуна в межах 20-25 кВт. Для вирішення поставленої мети розроблено методику дослідження з використанням приладу «Лан-М PRO» та мобільного додатку фірми Farmis, яка дозволяє отримувати об’єктивну інформацію про величину твердості ґрунту, її зміну за площею поля, глибиною у межах 2,5-60 см та з часом із чіткою актуалізацією точок замірів. Також розроблена універсальна конструкція культиватора, яка дозволяє його використання, як для глибокого обробітку, так і для звичайного суцільного обробітку ґрунту. Для виконання робіт із глибокого розпушення таким культиватором достатнім є тягове зусилля трактора ХТЗ-3510 при його русі на другій передачі. Вказаний результат досягається завдяки ярусному розташування розпушуючих лап та удосконаленому їх кріпленню до рами. Результати дослідження твердості ґрунту дослідної ділянки показали, що після першого обробітку ґрунту, який тривалий час не оброблявся, відбувається стабілізація його твердості у межах досліджуваних глибин. Дана твердість лише у окремих зонах, у яких очевидно час від часу рухались КТЗ, виходила за допустимі для нормального росту кореневої системи сільськогосподарських рослин значення (понад 35-40 кгс/см2). Оранка таких полів на глибину 18-20 см та наступна культивація на глибину 10-12 см навпаки призводить до ущільнення підорного шару. Це підтверджено тим, що в усіх варіантах дослідження на глибині 25 см і більше було виявлено значно більше зон із твердістю ґрунту понад 35 кгс/см2. Очевидно, що на зростання твердості певний вплив мали і рясні атмосферні опади. У той же час використання модернізованого культиватра-глибокорозпушувача дозволила знизити твердість ґрунту у шарі 5-30 см до значень які не перевищують 30 кгс/см2. Що підтверджує доцільність впровадження запропонованої у роботі конструкції ярусного культиватора-глибокорозпушувача. A specialized hoe opener was engineered for no-till systems to apply substantial amounts of wheat seeds and granular fertilizers, effectively suppressing early stage weeds. This distinctive hoe opener plants wheat seeds within a 120 mm wide horizontal band, positioning granular fertilizers precisely at the band’s center, all accomplished in a single pass. Notably, the design excels at covering the fertilizer with soil aggregates, compacting it through a wheat separator, and concurrently depositing wheat seeds from above. Our primary research objectives centered on achieving a consistent seedbed post-fertilizer application and ensuring a uniform distribution of wheat seeds within the horizontal band. The DEM (Discrete Element Method) was exploited to optimize the hoe opener’s parameters. Through extensive simulations and comparisons with experimental outcomes, an optimal wing orifice AB length of 60 mm was identified, effectively covering granular fertilizers with soil aggregates and achieving compaction through the wheat separator. Furthermore, parameters of the wheat seed separator’s hump were fine-tuned using the Box–Behnken algorithm, resulting in an optimal dimension of 40 mm for the top radius (A), 140 degrees for the top angle (B), and 90 mm for the bottom length (C).
