Abstract:A case of primary gastric ulcer in a 3-yearold girl is reported. Definite diagnosis was obtained by upper gastrointestinal series and fiberoptic gastroscopy. The ulcer was successfully treated by medical management. The usefulness of the fiberoptic gastroscopy for the establishment of the diagnosis was stressed.
