Abstract: Resumo Este artigo analisa a batalha do cinematógrafo da Central do Brasil, isto é, o conjunto de artigos publicados na imprensa carioca entre março e abril de 1908 que atacaram ou defenderam a gestão de Aarão Reis junto à Companhia da Estrada de Ferro Central do Brasil por ter permitido a instalação de um cinematógrafo na estação Central do Brasil.
