Abstract: Recebido em 18 de novembro de 2011. Aceito em 10 de dezembro de 2012. ResumoO estudo revelou a importância da cafeicultura e que a grande produção cafeeira coexistia com milhares de pequenos e médios produtores também dedicados à cafeicultura.
