A afetividade na relação docente/discente no ambiente escolar / Affectivity in the teaching / student relationship in the school environment

Abstract

When considering that the child in his school environment does not only need knowledge but all the necessary care for his development, the present work intends to show the importance of affectivity in the teacher / student relationship and his contribution in the teaching-learning process. To this end, the work sought to verify the perception of teachers at a public school in the public school about affectivity in the classroom, inviting them to share their experiences. The research was of a qualitative nature with a survey through a questionnaire and interview, involving subjective and objective questions, exploring aspects related to the knowledge about affectivity in the school context. The results show that a satisfactory affective bond is advantageous in the school environment as it interferes positively in the child's daily life and that practicing affection is an act of love and as such, inseparable from the school context. It is concluded that in school, affection is the link between teacher-knowledge-student, but family support is essential in the child's social, emotional and cognitive development.
