Abstract: Urotropinium nitrate, N-methylurotropinium azide, dinitramide and azotetrazolate salts have been prepared and fully characterized by analytical and spectoscopic ( 1 H, 13 C, 14 N NMR, IR, Raman) methods. The structures of all four compounds have been determined using X-ray diffraction techniques and represent Synthese, Charakterisierung und Kristallstrukturen von verschiedenen energiereichen Urotropinsalzen mit Azid-, Nitrat-, Dinitramid-und Azotetrazolat-GegenionenInhaltsübersicht. Urotropinnitrat, N-methylur… Show more

“…10 An aliquot of 1.00 g hexamine and an equivalent amount of ethyl iodide (0.570 mL) were dissolved in an aliquot of 50 mL of ethanol. The reaction solution was allowed to stand for 24 h at 40 C. After the reaction, the precipitated needle-crystal was filtered and washed with ethanol.…”

“…The slope, 1.03, indicates that the deprotonation reaction is one step (n = 1 in Eqs. (10) and (11)). This result also assures the monoprotic equilibrium of hexamine in this pH range.…”

“…Energetic salts often possess many advantages over conventional non-ionic energetic molecular compounds since the salts tend to exhibit lower vapor pressures than their non-ionic analogs. For related structure, urotropine, a model for energetic, nitrogen rich cage compounds, with the azide, has been reported (Anga et al, 2002). There are two distinct hydrogen-bonded rings as a result of that the zide act as a bridge which are quite different from the other amantadinium (Bélanger-Gariépy et al, 1987;Yang et al, 2006).…”
