“…For the irradiation induced changes in the fatigue properties observed near room temperatures (RT) in annealed stainless steel, it was reported for the tests after in-reactor irradiation of about 1 dpa that for lower total strain amplifatigue properties changed after irradiation, e. g. the cyclic hardening before irradiatin changed to the cyclic softening after irradiation because of the increased strength due to irradiation, but no change in the fatigue life was observed (8).
