656. KIRKPINAR YAĞLI GÜREŞLERİNE KATILAN SEYİRCİLERİN SOSYA-DEMOGRAFİK ÖZELLİKLERİ ve KATILIM SEBEPLERİ

Abstract

35 years old and over and 79% of them were in the secondary education level. Oil wrestling spectators have stated that the reason of they involved; 62% of attendees were interesting wrestling sports, 16% were traditional and historical, and 14% were Sarayici atmosphere. As a result; 62% of the spectators stated that they came to Kirkpinar because of the interesting about the sport of oil wrestling. This suggests that some of the masses are willing to watch wrestling. The average age of the spectators is higher when you look at other sports branches. Particularly the highest attendance rate among the spectators comes from the retired spectators. It is appreciated that the very inactive retired audience group is at the highest level according to Turkish standards, but it is necessary for young audiences group to be encouraged for our future.
