61.1: 80lm/W White OLEDs for Solid State Lighting

Abstract: 80lm/W white OLED has been successfully realized by introducing 3‐stacked tandem structure along with internal light extraction layer. The power efficacy and lifetime of the device were maintained over 80 lm/W and 26,000 hr for LT70 condition at 4,200nit operation, respectively.

“…In addition, achievements of preferable specifications as lighting source such as high efficacy, high luminance, long lifetime and high color rendering index (CRI) are also expected. In terms of efficiency, around 60 to 110 lm/W of panel efficacy have already reported from various research institutions [4][5][6]. Key technology for high efficacy, long lifetime and high luminance is light extraction enhancement technology from OLED devices.…”
