5-Methylcoumarin derivatives from Aphyllocladus denticulatus

Abstract: Abstract-The aerial parts of Aphyllocladus denticulatus afforded, in addition to some widespread compounds, six 5 methylcoumarin derivatives isolated previously from a Lycoseris species, and eight new ones. The structures were elucidated by high field NMR techniques, The chemotaxonomic relevance of the results is briefly discussed.
