A low level of population differentiation (0•078) was also found by Morozova et al (2002) using RAPDs markers. These important differences between studies could be due to the fact that the samples of the study carried out by Vázquez-Prieto et al (2011) were collected within a specific region of the Northwest of Spain (Galicia), and all the samples of Morozova et al (2002) were isolated from to the same Ukrainian cattle population.…”
