Bacteriological Profile and Antibiotic Resistance in Patients with Urinary Tract Infection in Tertiary Care Teaching Hospital in Western Rajasthan India

“…The same kind of findings was observed in a study by Meena M et al in which cases of E.coli, K.pneumoniae were higher at 37.2% and 10.2% respectively. 16 The antibiogram chart of isolates revealed high resistance against nalidixic acid and ciprofloxacin followed by cefixime at the same time susceptible to ertapenem, gentamicin followed by nitrofurantoin.
