Taxonomic revision of Scopocira Simon, 1900 (Araneae: Salticidae)

Abstract: The genus Scopocira Simon, 1900 is revised and six valid species are redescribed and illustrated: S. carinata Crane, 1945, S. dentichelis Simon, 1900, S. fuscimana (Mello-Leitão, 1941), S. histrio Simon, 1900, S. melanops (Taczanowski, 1871) and S. tenella Simon, 1900.
