Abstract:P.Köln XII 488, written before AD 245-8, contains calculations of taxes in kind levied on various types of land in the Oxyrhynchite nome. The document helps us to better understand and reconstruct a similar calculation in P.Oxy. Hels. 22, 23-27. Both texts in turn shed light on the question if and to what extent there was continuity in these matters from Ptolemaic into Roman times.
