Such studies include the impact of ambient room temperature on neonatal hypothermia (Duryea et al, ; Kent & Williams, ); the use of occlusive bags to prevent hypothermia (Bhavsar et al, , Caglar, Gozen, & Ince, ; Corado, Phelan & Zukowsky, ; Doglioni et al, ; Farhadi, Naderi, Rahmani, Gafari, & Khalilian, ; Godfrey et al, ; Knobel, Wimmer, & Holbert, ; Oatley, Blencowe, & Lawn, ); and the use of the trans‐warmer mattress to also prevent hypothermia (Chawla., Amaram, Gopal & Natarajan, ; Leslie, Wardle, Budge, Marlow, & Brocklehurst, ; McCarthy, Molloy, Twomey, Murphy, & O'Donnell, ; Singh, Duckett, Newton, & Watkinson, ).
