23‐5: Late‐News Paper: High‐Resolution Monolithic Micro‐LED Full‐color Micro‐display

Abstract

We report a manufacturing-friendly fabrication process of highresolution monolithic micro-LED full-color micro-displays. Starting with a 400 × 240 blue micro-LED array monolithically fabricated using GaN-on-Si epilayers, the display area was exposed and bonded with a color conversion layer to realize full-color microdisplay with a pixel density of 423 ppi.
