Properties of obliquely incident electromagnetic wave in one-dimensional (1D) magnetized plasma photonic crystals (PPCs) are studied in this paper. Based on the continuous boundary condition of electromagnetic wave in 1D PPC, transfer matrix equation and dispersion equation of transverse magnetic polarization are deduced, and the properties of dispersion and transmission relation in terms of external magnetic field, collision frequency, and dielectric constant of dielectric and incident angles are investigated, respectively. Results show that gap location and gap width can be effectively controlled by adjusting external magnetic field as well as incident angle, and increasing collision frequency has little effect on gap width while larger dielectric constant of dielectric leads to more gaps.

An active matrix monolithic micro‐LED full‐color micro‐display with a pixel density of 317 ppi is demonstrated. Starting from large‐scale and low‐cost GaN‐on‐Si epilayers, monolithic 64 × 36 blue micro‐LED arrays are fabricated and further transformed to full‐color micro‐displays by applying a photo‐patternable color conversion layer. This full‐color fabrication scheme shows feasible manufacturability, suggesting a potential for volume production of micro‐LED full‐color micro‐display.

Abstract-Dispersion characteristics of two types of two-dimension dielectric plasma photonic crystal are studied based on modified plane wave method. Firstly, the eigenvalue equations of TM mode of type-1 and type-2 structures are derived respectively; their dispersion curves are confirmed by the software simulation. Secondly, the influences of normalized plasma frequency, filling factor and relative dielectric constant on photonic band gap, and relative photonic band gap width are analyzed respectively, and some corresponding physical explanations are also given. These results would provide theoretical instructions for designing new photonic crystal devices using plasmadielectric structure.
