In addition to providing knowledge and skills to individuals in the educational process, it is also aimed to attainment value and attitude. In this context, today, values are included in the curriculum of many countries around the world as a curriculum component. The aim of this research is to examine the geography course curriculum (GCC) applied in Turkey from the Republic to the present day with the dimension of values education. In this study, which is a qualitative research, descriptive content analysis method was used. All GCC's applied from 1924 to the present day constitute the universe of research. Since the entire research universe has been reached, no sample selection has been made. All GCC's that make up the research universe have been subjected to descriptive analysis. Bu araştırma fen bilimleri ders kitaplarını değerler açısından incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman inceleme kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın materyalini 2021-2022 öğretim yılında okutulan fen bilimleri ders kitapları oluşturmuştur. Kitaplardaki değer ifadeleri, 2018 fen bilimleri dersi öğretim programında atıf yapılan 10 kök değere göre incelenmiştir. Veriler değer inceleme formu ile toplanmıştır. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf fen bilimleri ders kitaplarında sırasıyla 89, 105, 175, 69, 76, 157 değer belirlenmiştir. Toplam değer sayısı 671’dir. Kitaplarda en fazla sorumluluk, en az dürüstlük ve sabır değerleri bulunmaktadır. Üçüncü, dördüncü ve beşinci sınıf kitabında dürüstlük değerine, altıncı sınıf kitabında adalet ve dürüstlük değerlerine yer verilmemiştir. Değerlerin 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf ders kitaplarına, ünitelere ve öğrenme alanlarına dağılımı homojen değildir. Fen bilimleri ders kitaplarında ve fen bilimleri dersi öğretim programı kazanımlarında en az ve en çok bulunan değerler niceliksel açıdan uyumludur. Bu sonuçlara dayanarak fen bilimleri ders kitaplarının değerler açısından dengeli bir şekilde zenginleştirilmesi önerilebilir.
