2,5-Dimethoxybenzoquinone, 3,4-dimethyl-8-hydroxyisocoumarin, and eburicoic acid isolated from Lenzites thermophila Falck-75

Abstract: Three compounds were isolated from Lenzites thermophila Falck-75 and identified as being 2,5-dimethoxybenzoquinone, 3,4-dimethyl-8-hydroxyisocoumarin, and eburicoic acid. It is also shown that thermophillin, isolated from this fungus by Burton (4), is 2,5-dimethoxybenzoquinone.
